New Masterclass Series designed for women in business and the arts

New ways to access storytelling acumen and tools while in community

By Jennifer Cloer

This week, in our Newsletter, we introduced the Story Changes Culture Masterclass. It’s the only live storytelling masterclass exclusively built to elevate women in business and the arts and is designed with three separate tracks: one for female founders, one for business executives, and one for artists. The Masterclass is a five-week experience and features four collaborative workshops, engaging exercises, curated reading and listening recommendations, a supportive community, and a one-on-one mentor session.

I’ve been practicing public relations and communications, with an emphasis on storytelling, for more than two decades and what I see today is overwhelm and confusion about how to tell and share a story that really engages. The digital space is chaotic, and the media is changing in pretty dramatic ways. I also see too many women’s stories missing from the larger cultural conversation. We need more of these stories in higher profile places so that women are prioritized in every investor meeting, boardroom, and creative space.

I recently talked to a woman who is building something that will change her industry, but no one seems to be listening. I met with a woman last week who has a vision for her team inside one of the world’s largest companies, but she is struggling to build momentum behind her idea. Another woman in our community told me she has been working on her book for years but fears she won’t have an audience to read it when it comes out.

These are just a few of the stories I hear on the regular.

We’re also introducing Narrative Coaching, which gives women an opportunity to work with me 1:1. It can be an extension of our work in our Masterclass Series or as an alternative to that format. The combination of the Masterclass Series and Narrative Coaching provides a new way for anyone to access storytelling acumen and tools, not just those with big budgets for ongoing retainers.

I’ve taken great care to design these sessions with an emphasis on the experience. That’s why we’re keeping each cohort small, so space is limited.

If you’ve ever felt called to use your story to lead, inspire, or create change, this is your invitation. The experience begins after the New Year.
